      VS2200, Magellan 8400, QS6000 (OPOS Scanners) do not work in when idealpos is installed on Windows 8.1 & Windows 10

      VS2200, Magellan 8400, QS6000 (OPOS Scanners) do not work in when idealpos is installed on Windows 8.1 & Windows 10

      PSC OPOS Service Objects and Common Control Objects are not compatible with win 8.1 and 10.

      Upgrading to Datalogic OPOS and OPOS Common Control 1.14 fixes the issue. It does break the Oposconfig utility in Idealpos folder as it talks to old PSC OPOS, not new Datalogic OPOS. All OK though, config can be done in the registry.
