Starting September 1 2025 Idealpos License servers will no longer accept connections using TLS 1.0.
Changes to Idealpos licensing.
On the 1st of September 2025 Microsoft is discontinuing support for TLS 1.0. This means that Idealpos terminals using online licensing must use TLS 1.2 or higher to check license information.
Please ensure the software meets these minimum requirements:
- .NET Framework 4.6.2
- Idealpos V7 Build57 or above

Windows 7 based operating systems will require a separate download of the .NET Framework to update / install.
Windows 8 and above include .NET Framework updates in Windows update. Windows updates will need to be applied to update .NET on these systems.
