How to add logos to labels made with ScaleLink Pro 5

Create monochrome bitmap logo image

For an Ishida Uni-5 resize the image to less than 300 pixel wide, then open in MS Paint.

Go to File > Save as > Other format > Save as type: Monochrome bitmap (*.bmp,*.dip) > Save

Create logo in Scale Link Pro

Open ScaleLink Pro 5 Maintenance Utility > Select Configuration Library to open master library > Expand Uni 3 / Uni 5 folder (or relevant printer model) > Right click logos > Select new > Name your logo and open image location > Follow prompts to send new logo to printer

Adding the logo to a label

Expand the labels folder in the master library under the relevant label model folder then right click the used label and edit. Add the label where desired and exit, selecting yes to save your changes. With the label still highlighted in the library window select Comms in the top toolbar > select send > then select all labels.

If the label sends successfully, test the format by printing a label, adjust as needed by either reloading the image with a different size, or by moving the logo in the label format. Send to the label printer after changes are made.
