The S1F2 is an Android device used for Oolio Pay, Pocket Pad and Pocketpad Payments. In any new (July 2025 and greater) installation that is using or changing to Oolio Pay, this device is installed. If the venue is also using Pocket Pad (and, optionally, Pocketpad Payments), the device will come pre-installed with Pocket Pad.
The S1F2 is often supplied directly to resellers. For Idealpos customers, the Install team will handle installation of the device. For more information on device setup, refer to this Solution:

For Pocket Pad connectivity issues (for example, connection dropping after some time), check the version of Pocket Pad currently on the device, and if it is not the latest, get the R&D team to push the latest version to the device. Pocketpad Payments connects directly to Pocket Pad on the same device (127.0.0.1), so for any issues with either Pocket Pad or Pocketpad Payments, refer to the device logs that are available through Pocket Pad and to any Solutions available for troubleshooting Pocket Pad.
