Prolific PL 2303 USB to Serial Adapter

The latest driver for the PL 2303 series USB to Serial adapters is available here:

Note: The PL-2303HXA and XA chips are marked as End of Life, so they are not supported on Windows 8 and above.

If you are running Windows 8 or above, and are seeing the device not working in device manager:

You may need to find a windows 7 machine (or virtual machine) to install the device, run the utility and check the chipset version.
