Oolio B Cash Drawer not triggering from POS
The cash drawer trigger executable for J6412 (i15 / Oolio B) will not work correctly within Idealplos.
In rare cases the cash drawer trigger executable will not work correctly within Idealplos. In these cases, the executable will pop the cash drawer when it is run externally to POS.
We do not currently know why this happens, but there is a workaround.
Use the attached batch file as a user defined cash drawer in Idealpos.
Setup>POS Terminals>Modify>Other Peripherals
Set Connection to User Defined
In the POS Settings tab, add a user defined option:
DRAWERPATH1 = (path to batch file)
Note: When the batch file runs, a terminal window will quickly be seen in the taskbar. There are methods where this can be avoided using scripting instead of batch files, but this may introduce some lag.
