Error Trying To Open The Printer Port / Path not found : trying to OpenPrinterPort

This error is often accompanied with Idealpos taking a long time to progress,  or Idealpos may terminate. 

The root cause is due to either a Receipt Printer or Kitchen Printer that is configured locally, such as a Windows Shared printer being required but inaccessible. 

A entry of "Path not found : trying to OpenPrinterPort" will be found within IPSError.log.

This may be a result of a IP/DHCP change and can typically be avoided by configuring the printer over local loopback; '127.0.0.1'


Diagnosis may involve testing if the particular printer can print or deleting what is present in the 'connection' field. Verify the terminal's current IP address and whether or not the printer in question is actually shared.
