      Denso BHT-1505B PDE

      Denso BHT-1505B PDE

      1. Download the drivers from https://www.denso-wave.com/authupd/20042/27527_contents4.zip
      2. Make note of COM Port assignment number in Device Manager.
      3. Run the Install.exe
      4. Ensure Denso is on the Licence for the POS terminal you are connecting to.
      5. In Idealpos, Navigate to Setup > Denso PDE
      6. Add new Denso using the following settings.

      PDE MOdel: Denso BHT-8000 Series (BHT Protocol)

      COM Port: COM Port that was assigned in step 2.

      Baud Rate: 115200



      To set the communications settings on the Denso PDE in the SYSTEM MENU mode.

      1. Turn off the Denso
      2. Hold Down the [SF] + [1] + [PWR] buttons
      3. Navigate to 8: DEVICE
      4. 1: USB
      5. Select COM
      6. Hold [BS/C] to go back up a menu step (Go back to the Main Menu)
      7. Go to 4: SET SYSTEM
      8. 5: COMMUNICATION
      9. 3: OPEN "COM:" DETAIL
      10. Select SYSTEM
      11. Go up one menu
      12. Go to 2: PROTOCOL TYPE
      13. Select 2: BHT Protocol
      14. Go back to the Main Menu

      Downloading Data while the Denso is in the SYSTEM MENU

      1. Ensure the Denso is in the cradle
      2. Go to 2: DOWNLOAD
      3. Select FILE
      4. In Idealpos
      5. Navigate to Utilities > Denso PDE > Download Program to PDE
      6. Press OK

      Correct transfer will result in a message box
