      SQL Logs

      SQL Data error Logs (related to installation):

      %programfiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Setup Bootstrap\Log\summary.txt – and there is a date-time-stamped folder with detail.

      Idealpos SQL Logs (related to packet errors):

      Win7/8:

      \ProgramData\Ideal Business Software\IPS\sqldatalogs

      Win XP:

      \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ Ideal Business Software\IPS\sqldatalogs

      Also, here (for problems after installation): %programfiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.IDEALSQL\MSSQL\Log

      Note that SQLDUMPER errors indicate that the SQL Server errors logs should be checked.
