Prestashop Plugin Configuration - Webit 4

1. Once you have your download of Webit v4 right click on the file and install or run as administrator.
2. Click next on the install window

3. Click accept to the terms and license agreement and click next.

4. Make sure the install is set to the default location of C:\Webit and click next.

5. Once that is done click finish and the install is complete.

6. Click your start button and browse to the Idealpos Solutions then Webit or if you are using Windows 10 click on the start button click on all apps the Idealpos Solutions.

7. Next you will find the Webit icon in the system tray in the bottom right-hand side of the screen where your clock is located

8. If you right click on the cloud icon you will see the Webit menu. To start you will want to click on configuration.

9. Once the configuration window opens you will see the Webit plugins that are available to be configured. As a default they are all disabled. Click on Prestashop in the left hand panel to open the Prestashop settings panel to the right.

10. You will need some information from you Prestashop admin page and need to change some settings. This usually can be found at https://www.prestashop.com/en/ Enter your registered email and password.
11. You will need to create a tender for online payments to be processed. In Idealpos go to setup and click on functions.

12. Select the next blank tender and click modify and rename it to ONLINE PAYMENTS or a name of your choosing and tick SHOW IN BANKING.

13. Next we have to enable to tender. Go to setup yes/no options then click on the tender’s tab. Scroll down and find the tender you have just modified and tick to enable.

Scroll further down to un-tick inhibit ONLINE PAYMENTS.

14. Go to global options and click on the tab interfaces 2. Here you can set your tender for webit.

15. In Prestashop admin on the right-hand side of the dashboard go to advanced parameters then down to web services.

16. On the left hand side of the page in web services click on add new web service key.

17 .Now you want to create a new key so click on the generate button and enter a key description. Make sure the status is set to YES. Set all permissions to be ticked by ticking the top box in the table.


19. Next go to the navigation panel and click on preferences then general.

20. At the top of the general settings set the enable SSL to YES if you find this is greyed out click on the please click here to check if your shop supports HTTPS.

21. Scroll down to enable multi store to yes and click save at the bottom of the page.

And disable catalog mode.

23. Scroll down till you find products stock and set enable stock management to no

24. On the right hand side dashboard menu go to catalog then categories

Add Categories as required. Categories are used in Prestashop to determine where Products will display. Home indicates the Home page. You will use the Prestashop Categories you have created to map to POS
Sales Categories and Department from within the Webit plugin setup.
25. Go to shipping and then to carriers and click on add new carrier.

26. On the next page input the details of the carrier you have chosen. You may input more than one and click next at the bottom of the page.

31. When you click on the webit icon you will also see RETRIEVE ORDERS AUTOMATICALLY which needs to be set to TRUE to retrieve orders from the site enabling them into Idealpos. (Image 25)
UPDATE PRODUCTS AUTOMATICALLY will sync the selected stock items you have previously ticked web store with stock item description cost and stock levels once you have created the stock items on the site.

32. Under global option under the tab INTERFACES 2 you will find the web ordering via ideal webit configuration panel choose what options you will need for your setup.

36. In Idealpos v7 only we have added a print button in the webit window that will print a sales invoice.
