Importing Promotions and matching the Scan Code

The import file received from LMG for a promotion import will most likely contain an ITEM_CODE field containing a Scan Code. Idealpos will attempt to match the ITEM_CODE field against both the Stock Item Code and the primary Scan Code (the one visible on the Stock Item form), but it does not search for a matching Scan Code in Alternate Codes.

The SCAN_CODE field, which is also available, will search both the primary Scan Code, and any Alternate Codes (but of course does not search the Stock Code field).
